Holly has been divorced at least three times. Her first marriage was to actor Danny Quinn. A year after they got married and divorce in 1993, they separated. Jim Carrey met her in 1994 during the Ace Ventura Pet Detective auditions. It was not given to her, however they developed a friendship while shooting Dumb and Dumber. The couple married in 1996. The marriage was only a short time before they split up in 1997. The year 2001 saw Holly married Francis Greco. A Canadian born investment banker. She became Canadian in 2008 while she was married to Greco. Their divorce took place in 2014. Holly and her children live with her three children in Oakville Ontario Canada. Holly, Grant and their families each created the A Fund in 1992 at Hobart & William Smith Colleges to honor her brother Alexander. Holly described him as an "boy with a lot of hopes, ideas, hopes and dreams". At the age of 14 the boy had travelled all over Europe and Central America. He also lived within New York City as well as Los Angeles. This gave him an interest in architectural archaeology, archaeology and the history of the area.

Alaina was born on November 8, 1994 her parents being Kristy as well as J. J. Suddeth of Rossville, Georgia. Alaina's father, an engineer from Tennessee started singing when she was 3. Alaina sang as part of the Georgia Country Gospel Music association's Kids' Group. Alaina was 12 when she was the first to make one of her numerous trips to Nashville. She was a performer at Tootsie's Bar, which is a bar in the area that was located on Broadway. Alaina became the first ever winning Lake Winnepesaukah's WinniSTAR Youth Talent Contest in 2009. She composed and sang various songs, such as Leaving and Set Me Free, as well. Alaina, Holly Witherow's cousin who has a cancerous brain tumor, inspired her start singing. Alaina previously worked for CiC's Pizza. She attended Lakeview Fort Oglethorpe in Fort Oglethorpe Georgia and also was a cheerleader.
